Tomáš Halík is a Czech Roman Catholic priest, philosopher, and theologian. He is a professor of Sociology at the Charles University in Prague, pastor of the Academic Parish by St. Salvator Church in Prague, and president of the Czech Christian Academy. At the Meditatio Seminar "Spirituality in a Secular Society" he spoke on "Atheism and Dark Night of Faith" and took part in a panel with Prof Charles Taylor. The Seminar was held at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, in Prague, in May 2016.
